Quid Pro Quo? Admonitio?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his 12-year-old son were slightly injured Sunday afternoon when their motorcycle collided with a car near the family's home in Brentwood, his office said.

The low-speed collision occurred about 3:15 p.m. as Schwarzenegger was riding his Harley-Davidson with his son, Patrick, in the motorcycle's sidecar, according to Margita Thompson, the governor's press secretary.

As the pair were riding north on Mandeville Canyon Road, a car backed out of a driveway in the 2100 block and the governor was unable to avoid striking it, according to Thompson and a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, which investigated the accident.

With a security detail from the California Highway Patrol, Schwarzenegger and his son were taken to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica. Both were released after being treated for minor cuts and bruises, Thompson said. She added that the governor received 15 stitches in his lip[...]

And who is Mandeville?

Dutch-born British physician, philosopher, and satirist whose major work, The Fable of the Bees (1714), depicts all activity as being motivated by self-interest.

Let us all pray for Arnold's son and his speedy recovery.

I have been researching the Internet about the controversy that surrounded the release of “The Passion of the Christ”. It is absolutely ridiculous to believe that the reasons for anti-semitism throughout history are a result of Catholic and other so called “Christian” groups believing that the Jews killed Christ. Anti Semitism is the result of Satan’s hatred for the people of God and if he can influence the world to hate the better for him and his evil purposes. Jew haters use what happened at Calvary as a scapegoat to justify their behavior.
Some of the things I’ve read are just ignorant and idiotic.
Why are people so stupid?!

The reason why God sacrificed His Son is simple: To save mankind from a future of sin and hell. Christ paid the ultimate price. The Jewish leaders of the day were merely a means to an end. God used them for His own purposes just as He did Pharaoh in order to free His chosen people “the Jews” from slavery.

Christ gave of himself freely. No one killed Jesus. God is holy. We are sinners.
Jesus took upon Himself the mantle of our sin so that we could approach the purity of God through Him. Christ loves us so he gave us the best gift he could: an eternity in heaven with the Father. In order to do this Jesus had to die.

These idiots are being used by Satan to discredit the Truth depicted in your film.

(ps)

I would love to see a well-done film about the events surrounding the resurrection and eventual growth of the early church through the work and sacrifice of the disciples. Or a film about the life of the apostle Paul. (hint, hint)

Mel,

As usual, you are exactly right. I guess the geniuses in the mainstream media missed this one.

I for one wished there was a verse by verse movie on the life of Jesus. No slanted viewing, ideologies and "artistic licences" in making it. Sure it wouldn't be a blockbuster, but at least one you could show your kids and not worry about various slants or religious agenda thrown into it. Hint: Mary.

cheers
